Handball

Handball is a team sport in which two teams, typically consisting of seven players each (including a goalkeeper), aim to score goals by throwing a ball into the opposing team’s net. The game is played on a rectangular court, with designated areas for each team, including a goal area where only the goalkeeper is allowed to enter. Players can move the ball by passing it to teammates or by dribbling, and they must adhere to specific rules regarding movement and possession. Matches are usually played in two halves, and the team with the most goals at the end wins. Handball emphasizes agility, teamwork, and strategy, and is governed by the International Handball Federation (IHF) on an international level. The sport is popular in many countries, particularly in Europe, and has both indoor and outdoor variations.
