Women’s Rights

Women’s Rights refer to the fundamental rights and freedoms that belong to individuals of the female gender. These rights advocate for gender equality and address issues such as legal capacity, property ownership, employment, education, reproductive rights, and protection from discrimination and violence. The movement for women’s rights seeks to ensure that women have equal opportunities, can participate fully in society, and are treated with respect and dignity. Historically, the struggle for women’s rights has included suffrage (the right to vote), equal pay for equal work, and access to reproductive health services. Women’s rights are considered a crucial aspect of human rights, emphasizing that all individuals, regardless of gender, deserve equality and justice.
